Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reserve my space for a class online?
When browsing the studio schedule, click the “Sign Up” button for the class you would like to attend and it will be added to your cart. Click "Continue" and you will be prompted to sign in or create an account (MindBody Online - our class scheduler) to complete pre-registration. If you are currently practicing or have previously taken a class with us, you do not need to create a new account. Simply, click "Forgot Password?" and submit the email address we have for you on file to receive instructions to set your password. If you have trouble logging in or finding your account, please contact the studio to confirm the email address we have for you on file.
Do I need an account with Mindbody online (MBO) to pre-register online?
Yes, you will need an MBO account. If you are a current member, class series holder or previously taken a class at YogaWorks, you already have an MBO account. Simply, click "Forgot Password?" and submit the email address we have for you on file to receive instructions to set your password. If you have trouble logging in or finding your account, please contact the studio to confirm the email address we have for you on file.
Do I need to pre-register online to attend a class?
We will be happy to welcome you to our classes whether you pre-register or not! Walk-ins are always welcome. We prefer you pre-register because that helps us make sure we have your mat out and ready for you, but either way, we will be glad you joined us for a practice!
How far in advance can I pre-register for a class?
We know that lots of people traveling to Sedona book their trip months in advance, so we have set our schedules 6 months out. Please feel free to book your trip as far forward as you like or right up to 10 minutes before class starts. Or just walk in, you will always be welcome at Awakenings!
I do not see a "reserve" option for my class.
I am totally new to Yoga, what class should I sign up for?
Don't worry! We are so glad that you are interested in Yoga!
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing uses tones from Tuning Forks, Gongs and Alchemy Crystal Bowls to provide a deep relaxation to the body and mind. In our studio, our students rest on mats, covered with warm blankets in a darkened room, while the tones are produced create a deep penetrating sound that relax and repair the mind. Sound healing reduces stress, anger, depression, and fatigue, all of which impact physical health and raise the risk for disease. We've studied and practice Sound Healing for years and have seen some remarkable results in our students' physical, as well as emotional, well-being.
